1. OVERVIEW

At Fumbo Manufacture Limited, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. Our returns and exchanges policy is designed to be fair while reflecting the specialized nature of our school uniform and sportswear products. This policy applies to all purchases made through our website (www.fumbo.co.ke), direct orders, and school partnerships.

2. RETURNABLE VS NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Returnable Items

  • Standard Uniforms: Non-customized items in original condition
  • Faulty Items: Manufacturing defects or quality issues
  • Wrong Items: Incorrect size, color, or product delivered
  • Unused Items: With original tags and packaging intact

Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

  • Custom/Personalized: Items with school logos, student names, or custom embroidery
  • Undergarments: Socks, tights, undergarments for hygiene reasons
  • Swimwear: If hygiene seal is broken
  • Used Items: Worn, washed, or damaged by customer
  • Clearance Items: Specially discounted or promotional items

3. RETURN CONDITIONS

3.1 GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original saleable condition
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact
  • Valid proof of purchase (receipt or order number) required
  • Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery for standard items
  • Items returned outside the timeframe may be refused

3.2 RETURN TIMEFRAMES

  • Standard Items: 7 days from delivery date
  • Faulty Items: Up to 90 days (warranty period)
  • Wrong Items (Our Error): Up to 14 days from delivery
  • Group Buy Items: Must be handled individually by each parent

We'll email you a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and instructions

Download and print the return form if applicable

Package Items Securely

Pack items in original packaging with return form and RAN

Ensure all tags and labels remain attached

Ship or Arrange Pickup

Ship to our returns center or schedule pickup (if eligible)

We cover return shipping costs for our errors and defective items

5. REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

5.1 FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS (OUR ERROR)

  • Full Refund: Complete refund to original payment method
  • Free Replacement: Exchange for correct item at no cost
  • Store Credit: Credit for future purchases (if preferred)
  • Free Return Shipping: We cover all return shipping costs
  • Expedited Processing: Priority handling within 3-5 business days

5.2 CHANGE OF MIND (CUSTOMER INITIATED)

  • Exchange Only: Size or style exchange for standard items
  • Store Credit: Credit for future purchases (no cash refunds)
  • Customer Pays Shipping: Return shipping costs responsibility of customer
  • One Exchange: Single exchange per item (no multiple exchanges)
  • Standard Processing: 5-7 business days processing time

5.3 REFUND PROCESSING

  • Inspection: Items inspected within 2-3 business days of receipt
  • Approval: Email notification of refund approval or rejection
  • Processing Time: 7-14 business days to original payment method
  • Payment Methods: Refunds issued to original payment method only
  • Currency: All refunds processed in Kenyan Shillings (KES)

6. SPECIAL PROGRAM RETURNS

6.1 GROUP BUY RETURNS

  • Individual parents must handle returns directly with us
  • Group Coordinator is not responsible for individual returns
  • Standard return policy applies to each individual item
  • No bulk return processing for group purchases

6.2 BUNDLE RETURNS

  • Complete Bundle: Full refund if entire bundle returned
  • Partial Bundle: Pro-rated refund based on individual item pricing
  • Bundle Discount: Lost if partial return made
  • Mixed Conditions: Each item assessed individually

6.3 OUTGROWN GARMENTS PROGRAM

  • Items received through this program cannot be returned
  • 20% store credit is final - no further returns or refunds
  • Program items must be in good condition for acceptance
  • Seasonal program availability may vary

7. IMPORTANT NOTES

Please Note

  • Inspection Rights: We reserve the right to inspect all returned items
  • Condition Assessment: Items not meeting return conditions will be refused
  • Return Shipping: Customer responsible unless item is faulty or incorrect
  • Processing Delays: Peak seasons may extend processing times
  • Policy Changes: This policy may be updated - check before returning
