ORDER MANAGEMENT & RETURNS

1. ORDER PROCESSING

1.1 All orders are processed through our centralized fulfillment system. Upon successful payment confirmation, orders enter our quality assurance and packaging process.
1.2 Processing timelines:
  • Standard Items: 1-2 business days
  • Customized Products: 5-14 business days depending on complexity
  • Bulk Orders (Schools): 3-7 business days
  • Seasonal Peak Periods: Additional 2-3 business days
1.3 Quality Control: Each item undergoes inspection for defects, proper sizing, and compliance with school specifications before packaging.

2. ORDER TRACKING

2.1 All customers receive an Order Confirmation email immediately upon successful order placement, containing your unique order number and expected processing timeline.
2.2 Track your order at www.fumbo.co.ke/track-order using your order number. Status updates include:
  • Order Received and Payment Confirmed
  • In Production (for custom items)
  • Quality Check Complete
  • Dispatched for Delivery
  • Delivered/Available for Pickup
2.3 SMS and email notifications are sent at key milestones. Ensure your contact information is accurate at checkout.

3. RETURN ELIGIBILITY

3.1 Our return policy is designed to accommodate legitimate sizing and quality issues while protecting against abuse. Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery for standard items.
3.2 Eligible for Return or Exchange:
  • Standard uniform items in original, unworn condition with tags attached
  • Items with manufacturing defects or quality issues
  • Incorrect items shipped due to our error
  • Items that do not match the description or specifications provided
3.3 Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale):
  • Customized or personalized items (school logos, student names)
  • Undergarments, socks, tights, and swimwear (hygiene reasons)
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or altered
  • Items without original tags or packaging
  • Sale or clearance items specifically marked as final sale

4. RETURN AUTHORIZATION PROCESS

4.1 All returns must be pre-authorized. Contact our customer service team at info@fumbo.co.ke or +254 706 227 267 to initiate a return request.
4.2 Required Information for Return Authorization:
  • Original order number
  • Item details (name, size, quantity)
  • Reason for return (sizing, defect, wrong item, etc.)
  • Preferred resolution (exchange, store credit, refund)
4.3 Upon approval, you will receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and detailed return instructions, including our returns address and any applicable return shipping information.

5. REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

5.1 Manufacturing Defects or Our Error:
  • Full refund to original payment method
  • Free replacement item
  • Return shipping costs covered by Fumbo
  • Expedited processing within 3-5 business days
5.2 Customer-Initiated Returns (sizing, change of mind):
  • Exchange for different size or style (subject to availability)
  • Store credit for future purchases
  • Return shipping costs are customer's responsibility
  • No cash refunds for change of mind
5.3 Refund processing time is 7-14 business days from the date we receive and inspect the returned items. Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
